English Education Department in Faculty of Tarbiya, State University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has a small library called Reading Corner. There are some facilities you can get from Reading Corner. First, you can enjoy in training your listening skill through Audio-lingual TV Channel which serves several TV Cable programs. On those TV programs, we can watch BBC, CNN
or another News Channel and sometimes you can watch Discovery Channel and Oprah Winfrey, it helpful to increase listening skill very much. In additon, if you are English Educational Departments’s student, you can borrow some books, novels or some references here, it helpful to train your reading skill. It also serves you some newspapers and magazines, you can enjoy them and discuss or share ideas with your friends.
Those three facilities in the Reading Corner very useful and helpful for EED’s students for increasing their language skills in listening, reading, speaking and writing. ^.^V
